Hi! My name is Sachika Iwata, and I’m an illustrator. I love drawing animals doing funny little things.
I grew up in Japan, and ever since I was a kid, I’ve been curious about the world around me. That curiosity took me traveling to different parts of the world, and eventually brought me to New York, where I found a place that feels like the whole world has been squished together.
Along the way, I’ve been inspired by the people I meet, the places I discover, and, of course, the animals I encounter. I love bringing that sense of curiosity and wonder into my illustrations.
